Croatia–Oxford Mathematical Biology Workshop

Split, Croatia | 28–29 September 2026

A two-day workshop bringing together researchers from Croatia and Oxford working in mathematical biology and related areas.

The workshop will include short research talks, discussion time and informal networking, with the aim of strengthening research links, sharing current work and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

Organisers

The workshop is organised by Karla Bonic-Babic (Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford), with the Faculty of Science, University of Split (PMF Split) as co-organiser.

The workshop will take place in the Sky Bar, at the top of the Faculty building.

Programme

The workshop will begin on Monday 28 September in the afternoon and continue on Tuesday 29 September in the morning.

Tuesday afternoon will be left free for informal discussions, networking and travel.

The scientific programme will consist mainly of short research talks, with dedicated time for discussion and interaction between participants.

A detailed programme, including speakers, talk titles and timings, will be published shortly.

Practical information

There is no registration fee. Participants are expected to arrange and cover their own travel and accommodation.
